We’ve been holding onto this one for a fun surprise! Our first ever Pink Viognier was whole-cluster pressed and fermented in concrete with 2% a small amount of fresh Pinot Noir grapes, lending color, texture, and fruit character. Fermented with native yeast, the wine was aged for six months in neutral oak before being bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfites.
Ruby grapefruit in color, ‘Pink Viognier’ opens with bubblegum, cherry, lime, nectarine, and wet stone. Wild strawberry, watermelon, and persimmon lead the palate with blood orange pith and sea salt. Bright acidity and tart fruit carry through to a crisp, dry finish.
