Rita Hills estate, 50 acres planted in 2012, is planted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Syrah, Gamay, and Dornfelder. Our 50-acre vineyard in the north-westernmost corner of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA is profoundly influenced by the maritime climate, with sandy soils that are remnants of an ancient era that was submerged under the ocean. The property has always been farmed certified sustainable, and more recently the vines have been organically farmed while making improvements every year towards regenerative farming.
