Hand harvested and hand sorted, the grapes underwent a cold soak before fermentation in small open-top tanks, then aged 15 months in a combination of new and neutral oak barrels to build texture and complexity.
Dark and opaque in the glass, the wine opens with aromas of ripe blackberry, gunpowder, hoisin sauce, charcoal, and violet. The palate layers blueberry, tobacco, and espresso with a rich, mouth-coating texture and velvety tannins that carry through a long, smooth finish.
