This is our 9th consecutive vintage making wine with Rancho La Viña Vineyard’s fruit. It’s a remarkable vineyard, boasting a plenitude of farm-life, where heirloom tomatoes, squash and green beans grow beneath an old walnut orchard planted over a century ago. Crowning the farm is this beautifully intimate and small vineyard, planted exclusively to Pinot Noir. The vines on Rancho La Viña Vineyard are fed by a natural, subterranean spring, and the vineyard is noticeably lush with incredible greens in the spring and summertime. Our Rancho La Viña Vineyard Pinot Noir is always our fruitiest, year after year, and we can count on it to have distinct, brooding dark-berry flavors.
