‘Odds & Enz’ is our tribute to the ancient vines of Enz Vineyard in Lime Kiln Valley—planted in the 1880s and still producing fruit of remarkable depth and character. Now in its second vintage, this blend brings together Mourvèdre, Cabernet Pfeffer, and Zinfandel from the historic “field blend” blocks of the vineyard.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral oak, the wine highlights the site’s rugged charm. Medium ruby in the glass, it shows bright aromas of cranberry, dried fig, and wild red fruit, layered with white pepper, black tea, and dried herbs. On the palate, it’s fresh and savory with lively acidity, fine tannins, and a long, earthy finish. A living piece of California wine history—vibrant, soulful, and rooted in tradition.
