This is our first vintage working with Vermentino, and we couldn’t be more excited about the results. When we were offered a few tons from the well-regarded Camp 4 Vineyard, a site we’ve sourced grapes from for years, we saw a unique opportunity. After careful consideration, we decided to craft it as a pét-nat, and it turned out beautifully. Fermented in stainless steel and bottled at the tail end of fermentation, this sparkling wine is fresh and vibrant, with zesty lemon, tart green apple, and a subtle salinity reminiscent of ocean air. Made using the pét-nat method, it's a pure expression of the grape—fermented with native yeast, without any sulfites or additives, and left unfined and unfiltered. It's a lively, refreshing wine with a touch of wildness and a clean finish.
