For the first time in our winery’s 18 vintages, we are excited to release multiple ‘vineyard designated’ wines from a vineyard other than our own. We are honored to have the opportunity to source Cabernet Pfeffer, Mourvèdre, and Zinfandel grapes and make wines from Enz Vineyard, located in the Lime Kiln Valley AVA in San Benito County, California.

One unique feature of this vineyard is its ancient legacy - the original plantings, from which we still harvest grapes, were established in the 1880s! The vineyard is entirely dry-farmed; the grapes aren’t watered throughout their growing season, a technique that only the most time-tested and strongly rooted vines can withstand. The result is three unique wines, boasting characteristics and intensity of terroir unmatched by anything we’ve encountered in our nearly two decades of wine making on the west coast.
