In 2007, we set out to create our own stylistically crisp and fresh Chardonnay, deeply inspired by the lean white wines grown in Chablis, France. Our ‘Charm Acres’ is crafted from Chardonnay grapes grown on premium vineyards on the Sonoma Coast in Sonoma County. This wine is expertly blended to capture the spirit of the region and express the unique flavors associated with Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, showcasing an elegant balance of richness. The Sonoma Coast sub-appellation, known for its cool climate along the Pacific Ocean, produces Chardonnays with a rich, supple mouthfeel. The grapes are fermented in small lots and then aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels for 240 days. Malolactic fermentation is inhibited, resulting in a crisp style of Chardonnay.
