About The Wine
Our Tower 15, 2017 Merlot features a deep garnet color with classic smooth tannins and rich fruit flavors. The grapes for this limited quantity bottling are grown at Texas Road Vineyard, owned and farmed by Erich Russell of Rabbit Ridge Vineyards. Russell's dry method of farming this very warm site results in low yields and produces a wine that shows off a lot of bright red fruit. This small-production wine was hand-harvested, fermented in small lots, punched down by hand up to three times daily, and then barrel-aged for 540 days in neutral French oak with approximately 15% new American oak.
