About The Wine
Grown on the mountainous terrain of the relatively cool (for Paso Robles) Willow Creek District AVA, where harsh ocean winds clash against lime-stone and clay-loam earth, this Cabernet Sauvignon was forged by its conditions. This vintage is a bold, hedonistic and rich. A red wine with dark and extracted aromas of pure berry and weathered earth – it is viscous and concentrated, which makes it crowd-pleaser for those looking for an intense wine.
The AVA
The Willow Creek District of Paso Robles has similar features to FranceÕs Rhone Valley. Fog from the coast infiltrates the mountain gaps and spills into different plateaus and arroyos which often are the same paths for consistent ocean breezes.
Winemaker Notes
Smooth and elegant with brooding berry and earth. Warm clay and spices and black fruits decidely in balance.
