This is a bottling of ‘Fiddlestix Vineyard’ Pinot Noir, planted in 1996 on the grounds of a former flower farm, located on the western end of the Santa Ynez Valley in the Sta. Rita Hills. The vine- yard is characterized by a cool climate, largely influenced by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, which is about 10 miles away. The area benefits from fog and coastal breezes blowing through the Sta. Rita Hills, contributing to a moderate climate with temperatures rarely rising above 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Fiddlestix Vineyard is also notable for its organic farming practices and has been SIP (Sustainability in Practice) Certified under Fiddlehead Cellars ownership for vintages since 2013.

Since our first vintage in 2005, we’ve consistently produced several distinct releases of Pinot Noir from Fiddlestix Vineyard.
