About The Wine
Our 'Sunset' draws inspiration from the rosés famously produced in the Rhône Valley in France- specifically the Côtes de Provence. Depending on each harvest and growing season, the exact composition of our blend changes, but it is always built on a foundation of Grenache and Syrah. This year’s blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah was aged in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak barrels for 120 days.
The AVA
The California Central Coast includes the coastal land between Ventura County and Monterey County. This region has achieved global renown because of its abundant microclimates and enormous coastal influence.
Winemaker Notes
Aromatics of crushed rose petals, fresh strawberry, and white peach. Light and lively on the palate - lime zest and hints of fresh cut herbs swirl together backed up by fresh raspberries and notes of tarragon. Finishes with lingering fresh acidity.
