Neighborhood, 2021 Rosé 'Lexi'

About The Wine

Our 'Lexi' Rosé is a beautiful natural wine made from a combination of Pinot Noir grown on Pali Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, Grenache sourced from Morro View Vineyard in Edna Valley, and Sangiovese sourced from Deerfield Vineyard in Templeton. The grapes were picked and gently pressed into a small stainless steel tank. After 2 days of settling, the juice was racked off its lees into a second tank and barreled into entirely neutral French oak barrels. Once fermantation began, the barrels were stirred daily with a concerted effort to keep the temperature below 68°F. When fermentation was completed, the drums were self-topped via gravity. The wine was aged for 90 days in 100% neutral French oak. The juice is fermented using only native, natural yeast alive in the air and on the grapes. Nothing is added throughout the wine's elevage, resulting in a wine that is rich and complex with strong primary fruit flavors and acid, and remains unfined and unfiltered. Our ‘Lexi’ Rosé holds a special place in the Pali Wine Co. family's heart. This beautifully, handcrafted rosé was made in loving memory of Lexi Lee Walker and is part of our effort to support the Love Like Lexi Foundation to overcome childhood cancer. Pali Wile Co. will donate $5 for each bottle sold.

The AVA

The California Central Coast includes the coastal land between Ventura County and Monterey County. This region has achieved global renown because of its abundant microclimates and enormous coastal influence.

Winemaker Notes

Salmon pink with slight haze in the glass. This beautiful pink wine offers aromas of strawberry preserves and Pink Starburst candy balanced with rain on the nose. On the palate, terra cotta tile wrap around bright red fruit and lime leaf flavors.

A note from Pali

We will donate $5 to the Love Like Lexi Foundation for each bottle sold.
